Psalms 7:16  His mischief will return upon his own head

Cause and affect in our Psalms today as it relates to people who get up to no good, or who are in essence; wicked!

Psa 7:14  Behold, he travails with wickedness, And he conceives mischief and brings forth falsehood.

Psa 7:15  He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made.

Psa 7:16  His mischief will return upon his own head, And his violence will descend upon his own pate.

This tells us that a wicked person is basically setting themselves up for failure.  The evil that they project on to others, and more importantly offends God, is going to come back on them.

If we look at some of the wicked leaders across history, Hitler ended up cowardly hiding in a bunker and had to take his own life, Stalin’s brain basically exploded through what’s called a cerebral hemorrhage.

As the Word tells us, the evil-doers mischief will return upon their own heads.

So important stuff to remember here when find ourselves getting into trouble, we often foolishly try and justify our sin in our own minds, but sin is still sin, and it will come back on us just as today’s verse spells out.
