Good stuff today that reminds us that God is there for us when we call upon Him.  

Psa 9:10  Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, do not abandon those who search for you.

The book of James in the New Testament tells us that when we draw closer to God, God will draw closer to us.   

In our Pslams, David’s narrative here focuses on God being the righteous deliverer who will help the oppressed.  The poor and oppressed aren’t often going to get a refuge from the human leaders. But they will get refuge from our Divine Leader.  

It is often said that the world isn’t a fair place, and it most certainly isn’t, but God is a fair judge – and He will shepherd those who need him when they appeal to Him through prayer.
