Psalms today continues likening the wicked to a predatory animal that feasts on those who are weaker than they are:
Psa 10:10 He crouches, he bows down, And the unfortunate fall by his mighty ones.
Psa 10:11 He says to himself, “God has forgotten; He has hidden His face; He will never see it.”
The wicked lay in wait, and then overwhelms the helpless all the while thinking to themselves that “ God has forgotten about these folks”, the wicked also makes the foolish mistake thinking that God doesn’t see what is happening…kind of describing someone who is a sociopath or who has no remorse whatsoever for doing something terrible to someone else.
This is a foolish mistake, because God sees everything and as Revelation tells us, God will repay everyone according to their deeds, so while the wicked maybe living the good and carefree life, preying on others in their despair, they are going to be in for a rude awakening!
