We are covering the victory verses in Psalms 21 today, right after King David and Israel win a huge battle, and they are sings thanks and praises to God who gave them the W.  

Psa 21:6  For You make him most blessed forever; You make him joyful with gladness in Your presence.

This Psalm here actually covers 2 things here, King David being blessed with the gladness of God’s presence, since God gave David the victory and also Christ’s victory against sin when He died on the cross and was risen on 3rd day — The Psalm says, you make his most blessed forever; after the resurrection, Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, and His Kingdom will have no end.  

So 2 different meaning in today’s Psalms, King David’s victory over Israel’s enemies, and Christ’s eternal victory over our sin!
